Chevrolet Bolt EV is 2017 Car of the Year

16 November 2016

Chevrolet’s new Bolt EV has scooped US motor magazine Motor Trend’s coveted Car of the Year Award. The $30,000, 238-mile range hatchback saw off stiff established competition in the form of the Porsche 911, Ford Focus RS, Tesla Model S, Audi A4 and Jaguar XE and XF. Motor Trend’s COTY judge, Chris Theodore said: ‘Simply put the Chevy Bolt is twice the car for half the price of a BMW i3.’  Praise indeed.
