The UK Govt has confirmed it will continue to support adoption of EVs, with grants for electric cars and vans, as well as funding to install domestic charge points.
If you are buying an electric vehicle (EV), you will continue to benefit from up to £4,500 off the cost of an ultra-low emission car. You can also qualify for up to £2,500 off a hybrid and apply for £500 towards the installation of a charge point at your home.
Transport minister John Hayes said: “The number of ultra-low emission vehicles on our roads is at record levels and our renewed support for these exciting technologies is yet another significant milestone.”
